The Midwest Chassis "extreme" short torque arm offers both strength and adjustability while keeping the convenience of factory mounting locations. This kit is a complete bolt-in design with no welding or modifications needed. The double adjustable torque arm and adjustable pivot link allow a wide range of settings to achieve proper pinion angle and/or chassis bite. We offer several crossmember options for a variety of exhaust applications, all which include an integrated driveshaft loop. This style short torque arm has been proven to withstand 7.4x 1/4 mile times at over 180mph and 1.1x 60' times in a 3600lb car. The short arm is recommended for street/strip applications with an automatic transmission where chassis separation is desirable. It works with manual transmissions as well, but will be more aggressive on the tire compared to a long arm.
