MIDWEST CHASSIS 93-02 F-BODY CRASH BARS
This is for Midwest Chassis crash bars for 93-02 F-Body's. These crash bars are designed to be energy absorbing and help protect headers and oil pans from a wheel stand, plus help distribute the energy through the body and not bend the chassis from the weight of the engine like other mid-mounted design "skis". Item comes with two bars, two metric bolts for existing threaded holes, and two bolts/nuts for open holes. Reuse existing rear K-member bolts. Choose between standard rack location or forward rack location. The forward rack location design is for K-Members using a pinto rack adapter bracket that moves the rack forward from the stock location. Both styles are designed to work with most aftermarket k-members, but MWC cannot guarantee fitment on other manufacturers k-members. The MWC manual rack adapter bracket for tube k-members will keep the rack in stock location, others may not. Available in black only.
Please note: Due to mounting locations needed on the factory frame rails, crash bars are not designed for use with tube front ends.
